Forecairn 1.1 — ATLAS is now Forecairn
ATLAS is now Forecairn (version 1.1). The memory system is Forecairn Memory, the weather module is Forecairn FIELD, and the FIELD collectors now run from Studio. Existing links and API keys keep working.
The engine of the NexCode system, formerly ATLAS, is now called Forecairn, and this is version 1.1. Nothing about how it works changed: it still keeps the record, writes claims down with a confidence and the condition that would prove them wrong, and scores them against what actually happened.
The names: Forecairn is the product. Forecairn Memory is the memory system, where evidence, decisions, and claims are kept. Forecairn FIELD, called FIELD inside the app, is the weather and hazard module.
FIELD collectors now run from Studio. The code that gathers official observations, alerts, radar, earthquakes, storms, wildfire incidents, tsunami bulletins, and space weather lives in the Studio repository and runs on this site, rather than in a separate repository.
FIELD shows official alerts only, from the agencies that issue them. Forecairn does not make its own fire or hazard ratings, so an experimental fire-weather screen that earlier collector code produced has been removed from default output. Forecairn makes no earthquake-prediction claims.
Compatibility: /atlas and /projects/atlas redirect to the new pages. The /api/atlas/* routes still work alongside /api/forecairn/*, and developer keys with the atlas:read and atlas:write scopes keep working; forecairn:read and forecairn:write mean the same thing.
Site v4.0 and nexAI 5.1.0 are unchanged.
