Peak 1.2.0 — food registry, Meal Builder, and Summit
Peak 1.2.0 (build 42) adds the offline USDA food registry, Meal Builder, My Meals, drink quick-add, the Summit icon and 6 icon collections, a weight trend chart, and adaptive macros.
Peak is now at version 1.2.0, build 42, targeting iOS 18+.
Food registry: Search any food, drink, ingredient, or brand. 13,050 USDA foods work offline; packaged products come live from Open Food Facts, with browse-by-category and find-by-nutrient.
Meal Builder: Build one meal from search, barcode, photo, AI, custom foods, recipes, drinks, or quick add. Adjust amounts, scale the whole meal, and keep live totals with micronutrients.
My Meals: Save a built meal and re-log it in one tap at half, 1½, or double portion, or open it to adjust first. Saved meals also appear in search and suggestions.
Drinks & detail: Quick-add common drinks with real sizes, caffeine and alcohol guides, and full nutrition with % Daily Value when the source reports vitamins and minerals.
Summit icon: Peak’s mountain mark in dimensional glass with an aurora glow, plus dark and tinted versions for iOS 18 Home Screens, across six icon collections.
Weight trend & adaptive macros: Weigh-ins and a smoothed trend in Swift Charts, and when calories adapt, protein stays at your goal while carbs and fat rebalance.
Tabs now cross-fade (instantly with Reduce Motion), Fitness and Life show a loading skeleton like Today, and the food library uses scrollable chips instead of a crowded segmented control.
Like 1.0, this is the current build rather than a live App Store listing: a signed archive, production services, and App Store review still come first.
